A research team operates across Namibia, providing scientific evidence on human-wildlife conflict and possible mitigation strategies. TimBila is protected by a military-adept Anti Poaching Unit.
Landscape conservation forms the cornerstone of conservation in Namibia. The Naankuse Foundation, with its partners the ten Brinke family protects 30,000 hectares of landscape for conservation at TimBila. Cumulatively Naankuse protects almost 100,000 hectares of land.
